Center Description
The Cardiac Amyloidosis Center at Alexandria Main University Hospital provides specialized evaluation, diagnosis, and follow-up for patients with suspected and confirmed cardiac amyloidosis. The center operates a dedicated monthly cardiac amyloidosis clinic offering initial clinical assessment, including resting ECG, and long-term follow-up of established patients. Advanced echocardiographic services include standard transthoracic echocardiography and speckle-tracking echocardiography for comprehensive assessment of left ventricular, left atrial, and right ventricular longitudinal strain.
